Party Girls ~ Part 1 ~ Premier Designs

With the exploding popularity of women earning extra money selling everything from jewelry to decor through the home party plan, new generations of
party girls are born every day.

I recently joined a PREMIER Designs Inc. party gathering in Cathy Jarrett's home, and became reacquainted with the chunky-style jewelry like we wore in the 70s and 80s, and
renewed my love of jewelry like I haven't actively worn since those times.

With the exception of a few pieces designed for children,  PREMIER doesn't mess around with dainty chains and charms, instead offering artistic boutique designs that go way beyond look-at-me, all the way to stop-and-look-and-admire-the-details, with heft and bulk, and stunning color and substance.

As a designer of 35 years, I'm a visual person, and I found the PREMIER line to be tastefully designed and manufactured, and having that special quality that adds just the right accent to enhance the beauty of the wearer and her clothing, rather than detracting from it.

When you get to hold quality jewelry like this in your hands, it makes you realize how cheaply made is the jewelry we see in discount stores. With Premier's excellent guarantee policy, you'll be wearing these pieces for a long time to come, and they will most likely be handed down to your daughters and granddaughters.

Cathy first places coordinating pieces on a mannequin to give you an idea of how it actually looks around a neck -- and the beauty here is the mannequin.

"Styffany"  the mannequin, is full height so everyone in the room can see her.  Genius marketing strategy on the part of Premier.  From every angle, this company seems to get it right.

The pieces are then removed and passed around for each woman to hold and examine, imagining how it would look with an outfit back home in her closet, or at a special affair on her future calendar.  Attending a Premier Designs party is an experience nothing less than up close and personal.

Now anyone who knows me will tell you --- don't invite Jo to a shower because she hates the silly games women play to intentionally make idiots of themselves.  But much to my shock, Premier even gets that right!

Two of the party girls, Joy Breedlove and Lycia Jones
The game of the night was Cathy calling out a letter of the alphabet and women scrambling through their purses to find an item starting with that letter, stretching the item names and fun-cheating to be the first.  Cathy called "S" and Sandy Bell, one of the guests yelled salt! and held up a bag of peanuts from her purse.  I'm thinking those are "P"eanuts. But they were salted peanuts. Okay, well... that makes more sense.  Readers -- you won't believe what women have in their purses.  A "J" brought forth a small jar of jelly, and all sorts of little goodies made their way out of purses and into the light of day -- or technically lamps of night.  I laughed, as did everyone, until my sides split.  The whole scenario was insanely hilarious and a barrel of fun.

The demonstration finished and the party girls began to gather around the table, examining the dozens of lines and coordinating pieces, each murmuring to the woman next to her you deserve it -- buy it for you, and encouraging others to buy what they loved.  The average party of Premier Designs brings in $400 in sales, and Cathy had a party last Christmas that sold $1200 in jewelry.  Top Premier jewelers in metropolitan areas can sell $1000 at a party, easily.

Cathy Jarrett sells and sponsors other independent Premier jewelers, as a part time job to supplement her own insurance and investment firm.  The extra money was originally to help with her son's college activities and trips, but as with any extra money, when it's not needed anymore, it's still nice to have.

By now, you're probably interested in attending a Premier Designs jewelry party, or in hosting a party in your home.  Hostesses can earn 30% of their retail in FREE jewelry plus up to $100 in FREE JEWELRY bonuses! Premier also offers specials for guests or hostesses every month. Cathy Jarrett will give anyone who tells her they heard about her business on Blairsvillager.com an additional $10 off if they host a show or learn about the business opportunity! 3. Joy and Sandy -- absolutely had a ball and loved seeing you both. Sweeties, at our age, we're all gorgeous no matter what out posture or hair or midsections or south ends look like. We've earned the right to do and be whatever we want! Love you both.
